Tigers take some hits
The Erie baseball team is having its share of ups and downs in the Class 3A state playoffs.
The Tigers started off strong on Friday, May 9, beating the Manitou Springs Mustangs, 12-1, in their first playoff game.

Being the starting pitcher for a team’s district play-offs could be a daunting task for any young athlete.
But, Erie’s Luke Fisher was surprisingly at ease with starting on the mound for the Tigers during their first district play-off against Monte Vista on Saturday, May 3.

For a three-year-old program, the Erie girls tennis team is certainly on its way toward great things.
