Southern hospitality in Louisville

On March 30, Texas-born Pamela Pilarcik was under the impression southern hospitality could only be found in her home state.
By May 2, that opinion had changed drastically after the citizens of Louisville rallied around Pilarcik to lend a hand after an unexpected open heart surgery that left her unable to open heavy doors or even drive.

Beth Powell thinks wind power is the future.
Powell works with Climate Smart, a countywide effort to increase citizen’s energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprints in Boulder County. Climate Smart is running its third Boulder County Wind Challenge from April 1-July 31 with a goal of 1,000 new wind power customers, both residential and commercial.
